The Centaur Avatara for Para Bellum Wargames' Conquest.
Based on one of my early concepts when developing the Spire armies and their aesthetic, these cavalry sized models saw relatively little change from the original idea.
The most important of these changes was the actual size of the model. I had envisioned them as monster sized solitary creatures, huge like a modern day battle tank-and not in a unit, obviously. That difference brought about a lot of cascading changes to the final design-proportion and detail-wise, that I tried to keep as subtle as possible, in order to maintain the overall feeling of the final model as close as possible to the original design.
